Manila Zoo Celebrates Its 67th Founding Anniversary

 

MANILA, Philippines – July 25, 2026 – Families, animal lovers, and tourists gathered at the Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden as it celebrated its 67th Founding Anniversary, marking more than six decades as one of the country's most recognizable wildlife and educational attractions. The zoo first opened its gates on July 25, 1959.
The anniversary celebration featured a festive atmosphere with special activities, family-friendly attractions, and opportunities for visitors to explore the zoo's diverse collection of wildlife.
