SiGMA Foundation Donates 3,500 Wheelchairs to PAGCOR for Communities Affected by Habagat
PASAY CITY — September 16, 2026 — In a significant humanitarian initiative, the SiGMA Foundation turned over 3,500 wheelchairs to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to help Filipinos with mobility needs in communities affected by the southwest monsoon or habagat. The ceremonial turnover was held at the PAGCOR Corporate Office in Pasay City, with SiGMA Asia Managing Director Neil Shih leading the donation and PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco formally receiving the mobility aids. The wheelchairs will be distributed through PAGCOR's relief assistance program to residents in towns and provinces impacted by the habagat, providing much-needed mobility support to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.
