HistoEx 2026 Opens at SM MOA Music Hall: Bringing Philippine History to Life

 


In celebration of National History Month, HistoEx 2026 (History to Experience) officially opened today at the Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia, welcoming students, educators, history enthusiasts, and families to a three-day journey through the country's rich cultural heritage. The event runs from July 27–29, 2026, with free admission.

This year's theme, "Across Borders and Currents," highlights Philippine diplomatic history and the stories of Filipinos across the globe. Organized by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), the exposition features interactive historical exhibits, educational talks, cultural presentations, museums, government agencies, embassies, and heritage organizations.

Visitors can also enjoy engaging activities such as KaSiklaban, an intercollegiate history quiz competition, Reyal or Fakeh, a fun historical trivia challenge, and HistoEx Talks, where speakers discuss history, culture, and the arts in a modern and engaging way.
